More than 1,300 counterfeit big brand products worth 200,000 euros were seized in Thessaloniki by Greek authorities during a raid on a warehouse.
According to police reports, the 44 year old manager of the warehouse was immediately arrested and charged with possession and distribution of products of crime and for violation of the laws concerning product and market, trademarks and unfair competition.
Specifically, 1,349 counterfeit items of branded companies were found and confiscated at the site with an estimated loss in value to the respective companies in excess of 222,065 euros.
