Pakistani nationals working in Greece sent over 650,000 euros to their country

Remittances of Pakistani nationals working in Greece, mostly illegal immigrants, have increased by over 75% in the first four months of the current financial year as compared to the same period of the previous financial year.

According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, between July and October 2021, Pakistani nationals working in Greece sent over 650,000 euros in remittances to their country, which is 76.7% more than the same period in the last fiscal year.

During the period, Pakistanis working in Greece had sent about 35,000 euros.
