Kremlin spox Peskov: Greek-Russian relations are 6/10, Turkish-Russian relations are 7/10

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peshkov, among others, spoke about today's upcoming meeting between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as Greek-Russian relations.

Specifically, speaking to ANT1, Peskov said that Moscow views today's meeting very positively, noting: "We consider it historic."

"We have special relations with Greece, it is spiritual relations, relations of religion," he added, according to an excerpt from the interview broadcast by the television station.

In the same context, he expressed hope about the prospects for "such relations" between Greece and Russia, in the future.

"We look forward to continuing to have this kind of relationship," he said.

Dmitry Peskov said, he himself assessed Greek-Russian relations 6 on a scale of 10, while on the same scale he ranks Russian-Turkish relations at a 7.

He stressed that there is a possibility to cover the difference and expand the scope of cooperation between the two countries.
