High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell's 'options' paper' regarding "our options on the possibility of sanctions on Turkey due to its delinquent behaviour is Varosha" will be discussed at EU Foreign Ministers Council, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said on Monday upon his arrival to the meeting.
Dendias also underlined that "in the Council we will discuss the 'options' paper' that Josep Borrell will present today to discuss the imposition of sanctions on Turkey for its delinquent behaviour in Varosha, namely the fact that it ignores the international law and the UN Safety Council decisions.
"We will also discuss the issue of Belarus and how authoritarian regimes on the borders with EU instrumentalise the migration issue to press the EU ignoring the rule of law."
