Strong wind swept across Attica on the weekend, testing, among other things, the skills of the pilots who had the misfortune to land at the Eleftherios Venizelos airport, but also the composure of the passengers.
In fact, a video that is making the rounds on the internet, immortalising landings that are literally breathtaking, confirming the suspicions that no one would want to be inside the specific planes that seem to be surrendered to the strong gusts of wind.
The video posted on YouTube has already garnered tens of thousands of views.
"Landings on runway 21R during strong southern wings at Athens airport (up to 45 knots). Wind direction was "on" runway 21 so no go-arounds or cancellations," the description reads.
