A Christmas spectacle was enjoyed by young and old on Sunday afternoon, in the Central Square of Thymiana in Chios.
Although the temperature had dropped to very low levels, residents of Chios rushed to experience the magic of Christmas in the only village set up in the centre of the village, Xiakos Laos reported.
Women from the Educational and Cultural Club of Thymiana (MEOTH) wove the Christmas tree, which during the night was illuminated with thousands of lights.
This lighting illuminated all the colourful knitted patterns that were woven with so much love, to give light and joy to young and old again.
A Snowman could not be missing from a Christmas village, as well as the two brave nutcrackers.
There was also a Christmas workshop in the village, where the little friends of the village could send their letters to their beloved Santa Claus.
The great friends of the village warmed up with the mulled wine that was offered to whoever wanted it, while at the same time there were many children's activities.
