Culture Minister Mendoni and Nigerian Ambassador discuss building closer cultural relations

Culture Minister Lina Mendoni and the Ambassador of Nigeria Opunimi Akinkugbe discussed the building of relations between Greece and Nigeria in the sector of culture at a working meeting on Wednesday.

According to a Culture Ministry announcement, in light of the Greek government's intention to enhance its presence in sub-Saharan Africa, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in upgrading the two countries' cultural relations.

As a first step, the two sides agreed to proceed with the process of signing a Cooperation Memorandum in this area.
