Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the Agios Andreas Pedopolis, a home for the welfare of children without family care and protection, on the morning of Christmas Eve.
Accompanied by Deputy Welfare and Social Solidarity Minister Domna Michailidou and his daughter Daphne, the prime minister heard the children sing Christmas carols and then handed out gifts and spoke with the children.
The younger children presented the prime minister with a gingerbread house and the older children gave him a drawing.
The children also gave Mitsotakis a tour of the facility and he was briefed on its activities by its head, Maria Apostolopoulou, and the Attica Region Social Welfare Centreboard chairman Yiannis Livanos.
