An active Air Force officer in Chania died of COVID-19 complications.
The 51-year-old officer was hospitalised in the Intensive Care Unit of Chania Hospital, where patients with COVID-19 are being treated.
According to Zarpa News, the 51-year-old was completely unvaccinated.
This is the 88th death attributed to the virus in Chania in 2021.
Meanwhile, the occupancy rate in the ICU of Chania Hospital, where patients with COVID-19 are treated, remains at 100%.
