Greek Ministers for Justice and State test positive for COVID-19

The Greek Minister of Justice, Kostas Tsiaras, tested positive for COVID-19.

As he announced on his social media, he has mild symptoms, has isolated and will perform his duties remotely.

“With extremely mild symptoms thanks to my complete vaccination, I tested positive for COVID-19 after molecular PCR testing. Following the health protocol, I remain isolated and in the coming days, I will perform my duties remotely," he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Akis Skertsos was diagnosed with COVID-19, as he announced in a social media post.

"This morning I tested positive for coronavirus after a rapid test. Thanks to my triple vaccination the symptoms so far are extremely mild, a slight sore throat and a sporadic whooping cough," he wrote on Facebook.

"I proceed immediately to implement the isolation protocols and I will work from home in the coming days.

"The vaccine saves.

"Those who have not yet done the first or third dose of their vaccination, let them do it as soon as possible," the minister added.
