Stefanos Tsitsipas lost 3-1 sets (6-7, 6-4, 4-6, 1-6) to Daniil Medvedev in the Semi-Finals of the Australian Open.

The 23-year-old tennis player reached the Final 4 of the Australian Open and saw his bank account filled with money after winning over half a million euros.
Tsitsipas reached the semifinals of the Grand Slam in Melbourne and secured 567,000 euros (AUD$895,000).
Of course, he was eliminated by the Russian tennis player and lost the opportunity for the trophy and for AUD$2.875 million!

The top Greek tennis player faced the Russian Daniel Medvedev for the ninth time and has now lost seven times to him, but achieving two victories.
Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev are through to the final of the men’s singles at the Australian Open at the expense of Matteo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas respectively.

Medvedev, who has now won 13 grand slam matches in a row following his US Open triumph, assures the crowd he’s going watch Ash Barty v Danielle Collins tomorrow night.
Speaking after the match, Tsitsipas said “I’m very happy that I had the opportunity to perform here."

"I strongly believe I will be able to do very well here, one day, and give that joy and happiness shared with the fellow Aussies here, and the Greek community.
"It’s a tournament I very much love, and that I want to thrive in one day.”
