Patras port authorities located on Wednesday reported the discovery of large quantities of cocaine and cannabis at the port and arrested four individuals, aged 46, 51, 54 and 61, respectively.
According to the authorities, over 24 kg of cocaine and roughly 110 kg of hydroponic cannabis were found. The investigation revealed that the accused intended to import major quantities of drugs from other EU countries into Greece.
According to the port authorities the arrests were carried out based on evidence collected during a lengthy investigation lasting many months.
