Turkey's Defence Minister Hulusi Akar visited the Turkish Air Operations Centre for "Operation Winter Eagle" where he was photographed in front of a map of the Aegean displaying Greek islands as Turkish; all coloured in red.
Akar was at the military command centre to inspect Turkish air operations in northern Iraq and Syria against what they deemed as terrorists.
"Terrorists once again felt the breath of the Turkish Armed Forces on their necks. Many terrorists on the wanted list were neutralised," said Hulusi Akar.
Addressing the command centre personnel after Turkish planes destroyed their targets Defence Minister Akar said, "we have successfully completed the Winter Eagle Operation."
