Internationally renowned Greek Australian Soprano Penny Pavlakis met today with his Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and invited him on behalf of the promoters to join the Greek community and share in the musical experience of the upcoming concert by Yiannis Kotsiras.
Pavlakis herself has worked with such luminaries as Dame Joan Sutherland, Baz Luhrmann, Irish/Norwegian Eurovision winners Secret Garden, and maestro Tommy Tycho among others, with performances all over America, Europe, Asia and Australia with the biggest names.
"We are honoured to meet with his Eminence and to invite him to share with the rest of the Greek community, the wonderful music of one of Greece's brightest stars, Yiannis Kotsiras. It is an honour to have his Eminence share in this important cultural experience," said Pavlakis.
