Safiullin knocks out Stefanos Tsitsipas in Marseille

The top seed in Marseille, Stefanos Tsitsipas is out of the event after getting beaten by Roman Safiullin in straight sets 6-4 6-4.

An awful day in the office was made worse for Tsitsipas when he had a horrible fall during the match where he was lucky to escape without injury.

Tsitsipas nearly hit his head, hitting his shoulder pretty hard on the concrete surface below. Generally, it was a bad day for Tsitsipas who ran into a very inspired Safiullin today.
