Emmanuel Karalis continued his great performance in the pole vault in his first jump of 5.70. and exceeded 5.76 in the close to the indoor track rally of Lieven, while threatening the national record, 5.85 of Costas Filippidis.
The Greek champion started the race with a valid jump of 5.51, passed with the second 5.61 and 5.71 and with the third 5.76. He then dropped to 5.81, but failed in all three attempts at 5.86, eventually taking fourth place.
The winner of the High jump was Chris Nielsen with 5.91, followed by Thiago Braz with 5.81 and the third Dutchman Vlon, also with the same height.
