Greek Authorities issue €500,000 in covid-19 fines in just one day

The Greek government proceeded with the fine on its unvaccinated citizens over 60 years old, despite the economic downturn, high energy prices the fine continues to be 100 euros per month.

The fines tally for was 317,962 people for the month of January have been fined, as the measure was implemented from Jan 15 onward they will only have to pay 50 euros

The fine for the month of February will be sent out very soon, secretary-general for primary health care Marios Themistokleous said during the weekly briefing on vaccination rollout on Monday evening.

He reiterated the fine is 100 euros per month for a citizen of this age group who remains unvaccinated.
