Police in the Australian state of New South Wales are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 68-year-old man missing from Blacktown.
Police say Stevo Mandic (pictured), was last seen about 5.40am yesterday when he left his home on Kirkman Street for work.
“He was reported missing by family when he failed to return home on the same day,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
“Police and family hold concerns for Stevo’s welfare as this is out of character and he speaks limited English.”
The missing man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build, with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a white and blue striped t-shirt, green hi-vis vest, blue work pants, and black shoes.
He is believed to be travelling in a Grey Toyota Corolla with NSW registration BMD77R.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Blacktown Police.
