Specifically, the Greek National Opera (GNO) and NEON will present the premiere of “Bleat,” a new film by Yorgos Lanthimos, featuring Emma Stone and Damien Bonnard.
This is the second work commissioned as part of GNO and the NEON “The Artist on the Composer” program following a 2019 installation by Nikos Navridis.
“Bleat” will feature music by Bach, Knut Nystedt, and Toshio Hosokawa as performed by the “Maria Callas” quartet, the Chorus of the Hellenic Broadcasting company, Wu Wei, and Angelina Tkatcheva.
Set design is by Anna Georgiadou with Angelos Mentis as costume designer. The director of photography is Thodoros Mihopoulos and choreography is by Christos Papadopoulos. The film was edited by Yorgos Mavropsaridis.
The GNO auditoriums work at full capacity and therefore require that those attending the functions prove their vaccination certificate against COVID-19.
