Easter celebrated in Neos Kosmos again with wild fire display (VIDEOS)

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday was celebrated in the Athens neighbourhood of Neos Kosmos again this year with Molotov cocktails and sparklers.

So this year, after hearing "Christ is Risen", a group of people threw dozens of Molotov cocktails in the streets of the area.

The road outside the Holy Church of the Ascension of the Lord in Neos Kosmos was turned into a "war zone".

Residents of the wider area had gathered early in the spot to capture the scene with their mobile phones.
