Grecian Feasting at Parga Beach Resort

Parga Beach

Reopening its doors for the season, Parga Beach Resort invites guests to discover the destination on a gourmet getaway this summer.

Situated on Greece’s peaceful west coast, the luxury resort has launched a new ultra-all-inclusive basis, providing a hassle-free escape with access to all three gourmet restaurants and bars. What’s more, guests can learn the secrets of Grecian cuisine under the watchful eye of the Head Chef in a bespoke cookery class, returning home not only with wonderful memories but also some new honed culinary skills.

Food lies at the heart of Parga, and each of the resort’s restaurants offers up authentic and nutritious dining experiences, incorporating the freshest ingredients and prioritising local producers.

New for 2022, beachside eatery Alselēa will be serving a premium menu of modern Mediterranean cuisine. Seeking inspiration from ancient Greek poet Homer and its prime location, the name derives from “als” meaning sea and “elea” meaning olive. Here, guests can soak up unobstructed views of Valtos beach whilst enjoying fine dining at its very best, coupled with a curated selection of Mediterranean wines.

After sipping and savouring the best of what the region has to offer, uncover the secrets of Grecian cuisine in a dedicated workshop with the resort’s Head Chef. Suited to all ages and abilities, choose from a variety of themed courses whether it be mastering the flavours of a classic moussaka or perfecting the tzatziki.

Guests are then invited to enjoy their creations during a private dining experience either on the beach or in the verdant gardens. Just a stone’s throw away from the quaint town centre, venture through the cobbled streets and explore traditional tavernas and eccentric boutiques.

Those seeking a more active adventure can head out on guided hikes and bike rides through the picturesque surroundings or journey across the waves by yachts and kayaks.

Travellers can fly into Atikon airport (PVK), a short transfer to the resort. Whilst those seeking a flight free holiday can travel by boat into Igoumenitsa, the terminus of ferries from Italy, just a 45-minute drive from the resort.

Rooms start from 140 EUR (approx. £117) per night in the low season, to book and for further information, visit: https://www.pargabeachresort.gr/
