30th Athens Xclusive Designers Week

The 30th Athens Xclusive Designers Week took place at the Zappeion Megaron earlier this month, much to the delight of fashion lovers and design connoisseurs who had been deprived of the event, like all events, in the last two years,  due to the pandemic.

Over the years, more than 450 Greek and international fashion designers have participated in the Athens Xclusive Designers Week which is the official international fashion week in Greece.

It takes place twice a year at the historic venue of Zappeion Hall, presenting both supreme and current, cutting edge Greek designers along with top international fashion designers and fashion houses. Until today, AXDW has had the honor of hosting the fashion shows of legendary international fashion houses such as Zuhair Murad, Dsquared2, Escada, Cacharel, Emanuel Ungaro, Vivienne Westwood, Guy Laroche, Krizia, Vivia Ferragamo, Barbara Bui, Francois & Marithe Girbaud, to name a few.

The fashion shows are assembled and designed with top of the range production standards, corresponding to the same rank as the “Big Four” official fashion weeks in Paris, London, Milan and New York.

Every season, Athens Xclusive Designers Week is a must-visit destination for a total more than 25.000 people, including Greek and international Press and media, fashion buyers, fashion professionals and exclusive guests. Personalities like Nicky Hilton, Tara Reid and Boy George among others, have visited AXDW.

As part of its social contribution and charitable activities, this year the Athens Xclusive Designers Week supported the Centre for Gender Rights and Equality, DIOTIMA, focusing on Diversity, Equality, Women's Empowerment and Love, as fashion is a potent and the readily available means of expressing diversity, self-determination and equality!

Audiences had the opportunity to admire works by very important Greek photographers. During the Photography Exhibition, a Silent Auction was held to raise funds for the DIOTIMA NGO.

Indoor installations were constructed to welcome guests to the specially designed space of Xclusive Elements, to get to know top Greek accessory creators and acquire unique fashion accessories, at xclusive prices!
