Emmys: John Aniston to Receive Lifetime Achievement Awards

Days of Our Lives vet John Aniston will be among the Lifetime Achievement honorees at this year’s newly expanded Daytime, Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle, News & Documentary and Children’s & Family Emmy Award ceremonies, it was announced on Tuesday morning.

All NATAS events are scheduled to return to being in-person this year, after holding virtual ceremonies in 2020 and 2021.

Aniston, who has played Days‘ nefarious Victor Kiriakis for more than 35 years, will receive his Lifetime Achievement award at the 49th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which will be held Friday, June 24 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and air on CBS.

Who is John Aniston?

Yiannis Antonios Anastasakis was born on 24 July 1933 under the sign of Leo in Chania, Crete, Greece. He is an 86-year-old Greek-American soap opera actor, better known as John Anthony Aniston, and probably best recognized for starring in the role of Victor Kiriakis in more than 2600 episodes of the NBC daytime soap opera “Day Of Our Lives”. He is also known as the father of famous “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston.
