Mr Hill will present an overview of the case against the British Museum, which has claimed the artefacts as their own for the past two hundred years. He will be joined by cultural heritage consultant, George Vardas, who will discuss recent restitution campaign developments, and media personality, Christine Gazepis Stavropoulos.

The seminar will highlight the history of the Sculptures, the forty-year impasse with the British Museum, UNESCO’s restitution resolution, the Greek Prime Minister’s personal cause, the recent return of a Parthenon fragment from Italy and where to from now.
