ATHENS: International Conference on physiotherapy in mental health sector

From 4 - 6 May 2022, Athens will host the 9th International Organization of Physical Therapy in Mental Health Conference which focuses on the practice of
Physiotherapy in the mental health context.

The conference is organised by the IOPTMH, a member of the World Confederation of Physiotherapy
( WCPT / official consultant of the United Nations & the World Health Organization)
in collaboration with the Panhellenic Physiotherapists Association / Scientific section
«Physiotherapy in mental health» and is held for the first time in Greece.

It will be conducted in a hybrid format (physical presence & online monitoring) in full
harmonization with the Ministerial Decisions and the applicable Health Protocols for
conducting conferences.

It is known that by hosting a conference, the city regains vitality, the economy
strengthens, employment rates rise, infrastructure is used and the name of the country
«travels» around the world, with the delegates themselves being the best «vehicles of
advertising ”to attract future conferences."

The Chairman of the Organising Committee, Stavros Stathopoulos extends a special call to Greeks of the Diaspora, to actively
participate and support the conference as  ordinary delegates or as sponsors and share their high quality knowledge, skills and services,
