It looks like Snoop Dogg will have to pack his bags and get ready to celebrate in Glasgow after Ange Postecoglou's Celtic FC effectively won the Scottish Premiership after defeating Hearts of Midlothian in a convincing 4-1 win at Parkhead.
The victory has made it 30 games unbeaten for Celtic FC as they came from behind to see off Hearts at Parkhead.
Ellis Simms volleyed in the opener for the visitors during the opening exchanges, but Ange Postecoglou’s men battled back.
Goals from Daizen Maeda and Kyogo put the hosts in front at the break, before Matt O’Riley added a third in the second half.
Greek striker Giorgios Giakoumakis came off the bench to net a fourth in the closing stages.
It leaves Celtic nine points clear of Rangers before the Ibrox side face Dundee United on Sunday.
Any slip up from Gio van Bronckhorst’s men would mathematically seal the Scottish Premiership trophy. However, due to Celtic’s vastly superior goal difference (+22 against Rangers), it would take a major collapse if the title doesn't end up in Glasgow's East End.
Rap legend Snoop Dogg said in April that “the passport is out of the safe” and that he was planning an epic players’ party if Celtic are crowned Scottish champions.
With only two matches left, it would take consecutive defeats with the opposition scoring in the double digits for Celtic to not win the title.
Snoop, 50, says he has been a Celtic fan since 2005 after being given a Hoops top.
He said if the Parkhead team win the league, he will get on a plane to Scotland and fork out for a night that the players will never forget.
He told the Record: “My Bhoys are not there yet but after their win against Rangers, they are getting close to winning the
championship.
“Snoop hasn’t booked his ticket just yet but the passport is out of the safe.
“As soon as they are champions, you better believe I am on that flight to Glasgow.”
He says he will pay for the party and is already planning what it will include – champagne and Indian food.
He added: “The night is going to go off and whatever they want to do, it’s all going to be on Snoop.
“The champagne is going to be out and we are going to get it poppin’.
“For real, I love Indian food and always get the best curry in the UK.
"So if there are any good Indian restaurants in Glasgow, we can start the night there and I will hire out the whole place.”
