Mike Zambidis is experiencing the most beautiful and happy period of his life as in the early hours of Monday morning his partner gave birth to their twin girls.
The joyful news was published by the show Mega Kalimera, while on Sunday night "Iron Mike" posted on Facebook from the maternity hospital.
"And as soon as we get to the finish line…", he wrote on social media.
The couple had previously chosen not to make public the fact they were expecting more children, only when it was time to give birth.
A month ago, Zambidis announced that he was expecting twins.
"Together with my beloved Maria we are expecting two beautiful creations, twins," said the kickboxing champion.
"I wanted to tell the truth. I change track abruptly. I wanted it to tell the truth.
"Maria's mum has twins. We do not know the gender yet, we have left it for surprise.
"I am looking forward."

Maria and Mike Zambidis have been together for the last three years or so. She works in the gym owned by Iron Mike in Glyfada, in the reception area.
From the beginning, the athlete was impressed with her bright smile. Their first public joint appearance was in September 2019, at the Vrachon Theatre.
It is recalled that the 18 time World Champion announced at aged 41 in August 2021 that he is ready to take his relationship to the next level and have children.
He said on television: “We feel ready to become parents. I look forward to this gift, because it is a huge asset.”
“What is more beautiful than creating life, investing time, knowledge and energy in them?” he added.
Mike and Maria have been together for the last few years but have chosen to keep their relationship out of the limelight.
Recently, however, the famous kickboxer posted a snapshot with his partner to give her well wishes on her name day.
