Young Greek graduate designers had the opportunity to shine in the recent New Generations Fashion Lines (NGFL) show which took place earlier this month at the Peace & Friendship Stadium in Pireaus, Greece.
In its 9th Spring of 2022 edition, New Generations Fashion Lines (NGFL) paid homage to fashion and art in an industrial space by the sea. Clothing, jewelry, accessories and any form of artistic trends were presented at the 9th edition of this Fashion & Art Event, which was under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus and the cooperation of the Piraeus Trade Association as well as the Greek Italian Chamber of Commerce.
Everyone's efforts were united to give this special spring event the opportunity of expanding its network and getting to reach a newer market, the Market of Piraeus.
The event was supported by all -especially by the Greek Italian Chamber of Commerce, in order to promote fashion school graduates and introduce them to prospective clients from Italy with a view to the internationalisation of the event in the near future.
So, along with the first Graduate Fashion, the European Reliance as the major sponsor for public schools – for the first time in Greece – the event presented the excellent work of the six graduates from fashion schools in Greece and Cyprus.
On the second day of the event, the guests enjoyed the catwalks of six new promising designers with remarkable collection lines that were showcased both to the public and to the shop proprietors who attended the event.
The creative director of all catwalks was the well-known fashion expert Michalis Pantos.
In combination with all these fashion ramps, jewelry and accessories had to create a statement with new trends and collections at 40 different installations.
A visual exposition of 50 artists under the supervision of the curator Christos Petrides was also presented with the title "Art Unites".
This particular event reunites Fashion with Art, which is the context of the NGFL.
The 9th NGFL supports the Ark of the World charity.
