A shooting between Pakistani compatriots on Tuesday afternoon brought the Thessaloniki neighbhourhood of ​​Evosmos to a standstill.

According to Thess Today, three Pakistanis aged 18, 20 and 33 headed to a house in Sykies looking for their compatriots who they had previous encounters with.

Their compatriots came out of their balcony after shouting, but the 33-year-old shot at them with a gun and fled the scene.

The announcement by Greek Police:

"Three people were arrested in the afternoon in the ​​Evosmos area, following searches by police officers of the Neapolis-Sykea Security Department, with the assistance of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Department and the Thessaloniki Directorate of Immediate Action, for attempted murder.

"These are three foreigners aged 33, 18 and 20, against whom, as well as against a 22-year-old compatriot who is wanted, a relevant case was filed.

"Specifically, as it emerged from the investigation, the aforementioned early in the morning of the same day went to a house in the area of ​​Sykea where their compatriots live and the 33-year-old shot with a gun at them, without any injuries.

"The arrested will be taken to the competent Prosecutor."
