Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias will pay an official visit North Macedonia today Wednesday, 25 May, where he will meet with his counterpart Bujar Osmani and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.
The two foreign ministers will make statements to the press around 19:30 (Athens time).
Dendias will then be received by PM Kovacevski, and will then attend a working dinner with Osmani and Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs Bojan Marichic.
Bilateral talks are expected to focus on the full, consistent and in good faith implementation of the Prespa Agreement, on further strengthening bilateral relations in all areas including the economy, trade and energy, as well as on North Macedonia’s EU prospects, the Greek foreign affairs ministry noted in a statement. Discussion topics will also include developments in the Western Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the situation in .
Dendias last visited Skopje in November 2019 and August 2021, while his counterpart Bujar Osmani visited Athens in January 2021.
