Giorgos Sabanis and his partner Ioanna Sarris survived a serious car accident in the Athens seaside neighbourhood of Alimos, in the early hours of Thursday.
The car that the singer was driving collided at the height of Alimos with a passing car, resulting in the destruction of both cars.
According to Gossip, the couple was returning from Thessaloniki where the well-known songwriter participated in a concert held in memory of Dimitris Mitropanos.
A Yaris car in which two girls were riding crashed into the car of the singer, Mercedes brand.
Sabanis had incredible reflexes and maneuvered in order to avoid the Yaris and crashed into a pillar.
A few minutes after the accident, a police vehicle and an ambulance arrived, as driver of the Yaris was covered in blood and taken to the local police station on duty for precautionary reasons.
According to eyewitnesses, in the first minutes after the collision, the 39-year-old singer was in a state of shock.
His partner, Ioanna Sarris, was equally shocked.
Fortunately, the couple was not injured at all, while the two girls had to break the glass of the Yaris to get out of their vehicle, which was completely destroyed.
