If you’re in the city of Athens or Thessaloniki, you should definitely go to the bouzoukia, which are large concert halls where famous Greek artists perform. However, if Greek music isn't your thing, don't despair as there are nightclubs all over Greece to cater to all tastes. Nightlife and Greek summer go hand in hand and here you have the opportunity to go straight from the beach to a bar chance are at some point over your holiday, you may go from the bar straight back to the beach for a morning swim- summer in Greece is, after all, a 24-hour party!

*Milos island

The sea- There is a good reason why Greece’s beaches are always ranked as some of the best in the world. Firstly, let’s face it, the Aegean water is second to none and it doesn’t matter what part of Greece you are visiting, chances are there is a beautiful beach nearby with crystal blue water awaiting you.

And whether you are after a family-friendly beach, a great place to scuba dive, jet ski, or just sit back and relax, you will find one that is perfect for you. Secondly, where else can you sit back on a sunbed and order a Frappe, cocktail or any beverage of your choice, while listening to cool sounds and taking in the beautiful Mediterranean views?

The Islands - Greece is the land of the islands that come in different shapes and sizes, and have endless possibilities. Here you will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the world waiting for you.

On the Greek islands, you will also have the chance to relax your body, mind and soul, under the Aegean sun, enjoying crystal blue water and fun activities. Whether it's the Ionian, Dodecanese, Sporades or Cyclades- the choice is yours!

*Myrtos Beach, Kefalonia

The Sunsets- The dramatic colours that paint the horizon as day transitions to night enhance the ambience of the blue and white houses, fishing villages and ancient architecture around Greece.

Sunset spots are plentiful and not restricted to Santorini, so make sure you make the most of these picturesque moments!

Rooftop bars- In Athens, the city that never -ever- sleeps, nightlife choices are endless. But when summer arrives, all you need is one of these breathtaking roof terrace bars to make the most of your outing in this gorgeous city.

Some of our favourites are the rooftop at Athens Was Hotel, Galaxy Bar at the Hilton, GB Roof Garden at Hotel Grande Bretagne and A for Athens.

*Panigiri in Ikaria

Panigiria - Festivals, feasts and fairs are plentiful in Greece over Summer and filled with so many cultural activities that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. If you are lucky enough to be there at a Saint's Day fair, you will experience the locals serving homemade food and wine and you will also enjoy the music and dancing of the regions.

This is the time when Greeks get a chance to show you how they celebrate life and welcome everyone with open arms and hearts. Summer really does give you the chance to see how much Greeks love family, friends, food and creating unforgettable memories that will remain with you forever!
