Watch George Kambosos Jr Take on Devin Haney LIVE at the Greek Summer Festival

Watch one of the biggest boxing fights ever in Australia - George Kambosos Jr. vs Devin Haney - on Sunday 5 June, free and live on one of Australia’s largest outdoor screens at the Greek Summer Festival in Carss Park, Sydney.

The match promises to be huge with bad blood spilling over between George ‘Ferocious’ Kambosos and Devin Haney both during and following their press conference earlier this week in the lead-up to Sunday’s historic lightweight unification fight at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

The Greek Summer Festival is to hosted by St. Basil’s NSW/ACT who promises that the event will pay tribute to the Greek culture with the participation of some of the most loved Greek-Australian people, brands and entertainment.

Thus there is no better place than at the Greek Summer Festival, surrounded by hundreds of fellow supporters from the Greek community, to watch this momentous boxing match between the proudly Greek Kambosos and his opponent Haney.

As well as having the opportunity to watch the megafight live as Kambosos defends his lightweight title, festival-goers will also be treated to a live performance by one of the biggest names in the Greek entertainment industry - the legendary Stelios Dionisiou.

Much loved Greek singer Stelios has travelled to Australia to perform in the ‘Greek Legends of the 20th Century’ concert which will be touring in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide starting from May this year.

In addition to Stelios Dionisiou singing live, the crowd will also be wowed by world-class Greek entertainment including Sydney based band IHO NYX; as well as seven Greek dance groups set to perform traditional Greek dances.

Anticipated to be the largest Greek Festival in Australia with over 55 stalls already pre-registered for the event, visitors can expect a Greek-style agora and marketplace with Greek products, information and food stalls spread across the waterfront park. Entrance is free.

The festival will also feature lots of activities for the whole family and is to be held in the presence of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios in addition to many officials and the MC will be Mr Paul Nicolaou.

St Basil’s NSW/ACT is a not-for-profit organisation created by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia to provide quality care to ageing Greek – Australians.
