With the Mediterranean sun just beginning to be felt in Athens, naturally prices in June increase compared to the previous month - but just how much is the average price for an overnight stay in the Greek capital?
Online hotel prices increased significantly in June in the most popular tourist cities worldwide compared to the previous month and the corresponding month of 2021 according to Trivago’s relevant data, as reported by Travel.

Although hotel prices in Athens rose following international trends, the historic city remains a competitive location in terms of hotel accommodation when prices are compared with other major cities during this period.
In particular, the average online price per night in a double room in Athens for June is 143 euros, an increase of 11 euros when compared to May.
