Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo is going through the most beautiful phase of his life, with the basketball star seen with his two beautiful little boys in Mykonos.

The Greek Freak's embrace of being a dad is something evident, as seen in the by Mykonos Live TV.

Last year's NBA champion and MVP was spotted on camera enjoying his walk in the Old Port.

Gianni did not leave for a moment his son Liam and even enjoyed a moment of holding him in the air and then putting him on his shoulders. Next to him, his beloved wife was with the stroller and their 6-month-old child.

The international basketball player has said on numerous occasions that his two boys and his partner are the most important thing in life.

Giannis was previously seen enjoying the sun and Greek food at Psarou beach, known to attract local and international celebrities (and their huge yachts). This beach is one of Mykonos’ trendiest and most famous and is always packed in the summer.

The beautiful scenery attracts a massive amount of tourists who hope to swim in the emerald green water and see and be seen at its upscale beach club of Nammos.

The Greek Freak arrived in Mykonos from Athens where he posed for a photograph holding his two sons during their visit to the Acropolis.

“Our annual Akropolis visit,” he captioned his father-and-sons photo on Instagram. His oldest son is now two years old while the youngest will celebrate his first birthday in August.

After Mykonos, the Antetokounmpos’ are expected to spend the rest of their Greek holiday in the Peloponnese, where Giannis has bought two Costa Navarino Residences.

Recently, Antetokounmpo delved into the dilemma many visitors to Greece have when he compared two of the most glamorous Aegean islands, Mykonos and Santorini.

“Mykonos is one of the best islands in Greece…it’s a party island. You cannot go there with your significant other, you got to be by yourself. It’s got to be a boys’ trip. Obviously, we have Santorini, Santorini’s really romantic. It has the best sunset and sunrise in the world. You can take your significant other there,” Antetokounmpo said.

It appears he is certainly enjoying his time more in Greece then he did weeks ago in Los Angeles.

After dining with his family at Catch in West Hollywood, the star of the Milwaukee Bucks was asked by TMZ about his meal.

“Expensive, expensive,” Antetokounmpo said. “Not for me. This city is not for me.”

Greek Freak expected to play for Greece in Eurobasket

Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly expected to play for Greece in the 2022 Eurobasket, as the national basketball team’s manager Nikos Zisis told pubcaster ERT last week.

The NBA MVP first played for the senior men’s Greek national basketball team in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. He joined the Greek national team again for EuroBasket 2015 and the 2016 Turin FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

He then played with Greece during their preparation phase for the EuroBasket 2017 but missed the tournament due to an injury. Most recently, Giannis Antetokounmpo represented Greece at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The two-time NBA MVP admitted his meal was “incredible.” But the bill caught the eye of someone who has made $146 million during his career, according to Spotrac.

While the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics battle in the Eastern Conference Finals for the right to face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals and replace the Bucks as champions, “The Greek Freak” said “there is no price” on quality family time.

He is signed in the cheaper-living Milwaukee through the 2025-26 season.

Antetokounmpo was named All-NBA First Team for the fourth consecutive season earlier this week, an honour he feels “blessed” to receive.
