Brown Hotels CEO: Greece attracts Israeli investors because of its reasonable real estate prices

"The very strong tourist demand for Greece, which is one of the strongest tourist countries in the world, but also the ties between Israel and Greece and their societies are the main reasons that led the Israeli Brown Hotels to invest in Greece," the CEO and co-founder of the Israeli Brown Hotels, Leon Avigad, which invests in 40 tourism projects in Greece, said in an interview with AMNA on Monday.

Leon Avigad especially focused on two reasons. "The first one is the ties between Israel and Greece and their societies which makes cooperation so easy."

"The second is the current conditions," he continued. "The very strong tourist demand for Greece, which is one of the strongest tourist countries in the world and of course real estate prices that are very reasonable."

Answering a question about the future of the Greek hotel sector, he stated that Greece will always be authentic and will offer the human side of hospitality.

At the same time, serious investments are being made that will allow larger hotels to achieve higher goals.
