Promoter Lou DiBella says the recently dethroned former unified lightweight champion "Ferocious" will likely be exercising his rematch clause for a second fight against Devin Haney in Australia.

The Greek-Australian says, "I'm going to change a few things and get him back for a rematch later this year."

Talk of a rematch started within minutes of the judges’ verdict.

After the fight ended in the ring Jim Kambosos and Haney's father, Bill, exchanged a few heated words, an apparent reference to the trash talk between the two camps in previous days, but the two fighters were respectful.

The lightweight champion’s boxing journey started when he was only 11-years-old. Self-admittedly overweight as a child, "Ferocious" found himself struggling to keep his fitness up while playing rugby league in Sydney’s southern suburbs.

George enters the ring carrying two flags, the Australian Flag but he is a also a proud Greek and his heritage is undeniable.
