Greek wrestler Arionas Kolitsopoulos crowned European Champion

Greek wrestler Arionas Kolitsopoulos was crowned European Champion in the U17 category on Tuesday at this years European Wrestling Championship 2022 held at the Polyvalent Hall Bucharest, Romania.

With a few seconds left in the match and with a draw at 1-1, Kolitsopoulos made a fantastic last minute  manoeuvre that gave him 4 points and the victory.

The victory makes Kolitsopoulos Greece’s first-ever U17 European champion.
