Tsitsipas wins Mallorca final, edges Bautista Agut to lift his first title on grass

Stefanos Tsitsipas hoisted the trophy on Saturday against Roberto Bautista Agut.

Greece Stefanos Tsitsipas, the second seed, edged out Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 5 won, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2) to lift the Mallorca Open trophy at Mallorca Country Club on Saturday.

He maintained his 100 percent record over his Spanish opponent – and also began a new impeccable record, winning his first-ever final on a grass court.

In the previous rounds, Tsitsipas, ranked No 6, beat Belarusian Ilya Ivashka (6-4, 6-4), American Marcos Giron (7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3) and Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (6-4, 6-4).
