A few hours before the scheduled speech of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Bursa, the gathering was postponed due to the Turkish president's health issues - as local MPs informed, the president of Turkey felt a sudden malaise.

In particular, AKP MP Refik Özen stated that the gathering was postponed due to a "common cold" .

"The health of our president is more important than anything else," Ozen said, while there is still no official announcement from the Turkish presidency.

In the meantime, on Turkish social media, according to what ERT broadcasts, there are rumours that the Turkish president suffered partial paralysis on the left side of the face, but this has not been confirmed so far.

For the Turkish president's speech, Bursa was prepared and decorated with flags, the parking lots were empty and the streets were green.

The expenses and all the preparations are said to have amounted to 2.5 million Turkish Lira (145,000 euros).
