Chiara Passari defends herself against suspicious timing of DV allegations against Kyrgios

Chiara Passari, the former girlfriend of Nick Kyrgios has spoken out about what many considered the suspicious timing of the domestic violence allegations against him reported,  claiming she had nothing to do with it.

With the Twitterati out in force and the presumption of innocence not even a consideration for the modern barbarian, and those already biased against Kyrgios, the news comes at a historic time for the tennis great, just as he makes it through his first grand slam semi-final.

“Kyrgios’ legal team has argued however that technically he has not been charged as that does not officially happen until he appears in court.”

“ACT Policing can confirm a 27-year-old Watson man is scheduled to face the ACT Magistrates Court on the 2nd of August in relation to one charge of common assault following an incident in December 2021,” police said on Tuesday.

Passari told The Daily Telegraph that the incident was reported in December last year.and that she had nothing to do with the timing of the news dropping.

Following messages of support on her Instagram, Passari wrote: “Thank you. Finally someone smart enough to understand how the justice system works.”
