Manchester City star Jack Grealish shared photos from him training hard on the Greek island of Santorini and then days later enjoying golf in Athens, where he announced on his social media that he has "fallen in love" with the Mediterranean country.
The 26-year-old and his partner Sasha Attwood was at the Cycladic island in early July after attending the wedding of his former Aston Villa team-mate Conor Hourihane.
The winger has enjoyed his summer having also attended Harry Maguire's wedding last month - but he has maintained his fitness too.
And it appears his hard work is paying off as Grealish looked in amazing condition as he underwent some punishing sprinting drills.
Grealish also had a football out which he was captured dribbling around cones, hoping to brush off the cobwebs ahead of City's return to training.
The Manchester city player made the most of his time off and he is expected to return to training on Monday to begin his pre-season preparations.
Sasha previously posted pics of the pair on their "dream" break.
On her Instagram page, which has 144,000 followers, she shared a photo of herself and a loved-up Grealish posing for a selfie.
She also uploaded pics of the picturesque Greek island, Santorini, as well as her and Grealish tucking into a steak dinner and a glass of bubbly.
The football star has admitted he has "fallen in love" with the country.
Sasha shared pictures of a stunning ocean view with a glass of Rosé in hand.
Grealish's team-mates have even picked up on his love for Greece.
Arsenal and England pal Bukayo Saka replied to Grealish's query over a forgotten invite to Wimbledon, saying: "The final's tomorrow 🤔 or you prefer to stay in Greece?"
