Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias visited Odessa today and met with representatives of diaspora organisations with whom he discussed "the challenges facing the Greek diaspora after the Russian invasion of Ukraine."
"Meeting with #Odessa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov and visit to the emblematic Opera building, inaugurated during Maraslis’ mayorship. Talks on the centuries-old presence of the Greek Diaspora in #Odessa, a city with a great significance for Greece," he tweeted.

"l had the opportunity to meet with Diaspora Greeks forced to flee their homes in #Mariupol, hear their stories, and assure them that 🇬🇷 will continue to work for their well-being and provide them with assistance both now and in the future," he tweeted elsewhere.
