Greece is one of the favourite holiday destinations for the British Royal Family notes Town& Country magazine, listing in 7th place among the top 10 countries the British royals prefer for their getaways.

It's no coincidence that Prince Edward, son of Queen Elizabeth, was recently spotted on the island of Corfu, the birthplace of his father, the late Prince Phillip.

Prince Charles and Camilla have been spotted spending their summer holidays in Corfu, Greece for many years.  In 2018 Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla visited Crete  where they joined in on some traditional Greek dancing, as they complete their three-day tour of Greece.

Arriving on Greece’s largest island, Prince Charles joined the Cretan dancing group wearing traditional dress at the village of Archanes, in Heraklion.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall also visited the Knossos Archaeological Site in Crete, on the final day of their tour   visited stalls showcasing Cretan produce, crafts, and local initiatives.

Other countries on the list are:

1. Mustique, Saint Vincent
2. Botswana
3. Mallorca, Spain
4. Nevis
5. Norfolk, England
6. The Bahamas
