Fire manifested in Mount Athos in close proximity to the Monastery of Dochiariou. Ground and aerial firefighting forces are trying to contain the fire.
The fire on Mount Athos broke out a few minutes before 2pm on Saturday (06.08.2022) near the Monastery of Dochiari.
33 firefighters with ten vehicles, two aircraft, a helicopter and two teams of pedestrian departments are operating at the scene and are trying to control the blaze
