A woman divorced her husband four years ago to escape his oppression, but she could not get rid of his presence and brutality after she reported to police in Skiathos that she was raped by him.

The 43-year-old woman lives in Skiathos and was allegedly raped by her 45-year-old ex-husband, reported to Gegonota.

She filed a lawsuit after her ex-husband showed up outside the door of her home last Tuesday and threatened to kill her.

In her testimony, she told police that on August 26 he had raped her inside of her home.

Yesterday, the alleged abuser was taken to court claiming that the sex with his ex-wife was consensual. She said that he raped her in the house using violence and threats.

He also denied threatening to kill her or creating any incident outside the house.

The 43-year-old mother of a small child will undergo tests and the prosecutor ordered a preliminary examination, while as it became known the 45-year-old of Albanian origin is illegally in Greece.
