Volos: Man needed the Fire Department to remove his ring

An operation to remove a steel ring, which was wedged in the finger of a 20-year-old man, was carried out by the Volos Fire Service.

The operation was carried out yesterday afternoon with the goldsmith and vice president of the Special Forces Club, Vassilis Iliopoulos, who has now become an expert in such cases since they keep multiplying in the region, according to Magnesia News.

The young man finally managed to free himself from the shackles and the wound caused to his finger was treated by the firefighters with first aid.
