A 50-year-old father in Patras managed to trap and immobilise a 47-year-old man who was sending sexual messages to his 12-year-old daughter.
The 47-year-old man made an appointment with the 12-year-old girl in a square in Patras, but without calculating that he would fall into a trap since her father was at the scene with the 12-year- old girl.
As a result, the 50-year-old man immediately intervened and immobilised the perpetrator and called the police to arrest him.
According to Tempo24, the father realised in time that his daughter was receiving obscene messages on her mobile phone from the 47-year-old and immediately took action to find him and hand him over to the authorities.
The father himself started chatting on his daughter's cell phone with the 47-year-old man in order to make a meeting on her behalf.
Indeed, the appointment was made on Sunday afternoon in Zarouhleikon square and the father went to the spot with his daughter. He let the 47-year-old approach his daughter but then appeared in front of him . The father then stopped the 47-year-old before he could react.
The police immediately arrived at the scene and the 47-year-old was arrested on the charge of sexual indecency against a minor and is expected to be taken to the prosecutor to face charges.
