4.1 Richter earthquake shakes up Patra city

An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale registered at approximately 17:10 on Friday near the city of Patras, in the Achaia prefecture, northern Peloponnese.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens National Observatory, the quake’s epicenter was pinpointed in the sea 9km northwest of Kato Achaia.

No injuries or damages have been reported so far.
