A 16-year-old male was arrested after two 15-year-old girls in Larissa told police that he violently assault one of them. He is accused of extinguishing a cigarette on the knee of one of the teenage girls when she rejected his sexual advances.

The two female classmates had gone for a walk and at some point the 16-year-old joined the group, who quickly showed his sexual intentions. He started making immoral proposals and when the female students refused, he started making threats against them.

At one point, the girls alleged, he approached one of them and put out the cigarette he was holding on her leg. It caused a minor burn but the police quickly became involved.

Police officers of the Security Sub-Directorate in Larissa proceeded to arrest the 16-year-old high school student, who is accused of sexual indecency and bodily harm.

It all started in the central square on Friday afternoon. As every evening when children gather, the two 15-year-old girls and the 16-year-old boy were in the company of other teenagers.

The 16-year-old initially expressed his interest in the 15-year-old, but then he became pushy. The 15-year-old refused, with the 16-year-old continuing with gestures.

At one point he expressed interest in another 15-year-old girl from the same group. When she also refused, he moved towards her aggressively and started threatening to put out a cigarette on her leg.

According to the Eleftheria newspaper, the 15-year-old not only refused, but resisted the 16-year-old's demands, and thus he carried out his threat.

The girls reported the incident to their parents and after the case was reported to the police, officers arrested the 16-year-old on charges of insulting the sexual dignity of the two girls and for bodily harm to one girl.

According to OnLarissa, after his confession, the 16-year-old was released following a prosecutor's order as he is a minor. A case file is being made against the young student by the Directorate of Security.
